LOCATION
The entertaining complex Riviera Shoping City located on the territory of 21 hectares on the Nikalaevskaya Road to Odessa is most ambitious and scaled project of this region. Riviera Shoping City was designed on the basis of comprehensive trade approach famous as «Shopping Mall» that has been practising in the West for many years. The entertaining Complex Riviera will include food store and building hypermarkets, sport's goods shop and more than 20 000 square meters of boutique area. DESCRIPTION OF COMMERCIAL AND ENTERTAINING COMPLEX "RIVIERA"
Commercial and entertaining complex "Riviera" is located along the Yuzhnaya Highway in the vicinity of the village of Leski Cominternovskiy district Odessa region.
Complex is located on the lot with the total area of around 21 hectares. One side of the lot abuts on the highway. Road interchange with the circular motion, executed in conjunction with the land improvement as well as the prospective new highway connecting Zabolotnogo Street and the Yuzhnaya Highway provides comfortable approach and movement of visitors' and motor transport. The development of transport infrastructure in the region, conducted jointly with the development of land ensures intensive inflow of prospective purchasers.
The gross site area is around 100000 m2. Complex is located in two adjacent buildings. The shopping centre "OBI" with the total area of around 16'000 m2 is located in the first building. The shopping center contains the building material store, horticultural center (heated and uncongealable greenhouses), storage rooms, offices and auxillary rooms and areas of exterior unload and trade. Constructions of the building are metal of required grade of fire resistance. Exterior wall - sandwich-panels. The fence of greenhouses is made of façade glazing. The flooring in the shop floor and storage room is of concrete with case-hardening. The roofing is rolled-strip with mineral wool insulation «Rockwool» and polyvinylchloride membrane «Sikaplan».
The second building with the total area about 80'000 m2 includes hypermarket «Real», electronics and furniture stores, cinemas, fast-food area, playground, boutique gallery. The building is divided into sections and parted on separate blocks with different number of storeys - 1 and 2 stores. The construction of the building is hybrid frame with cast-in-situ reinforced concrete columns and metal floor system. The flooring of the shop floor of the hypermarket is reinforced ceramic tile, which can take stress (weight) of stored goods and heavy loaders. In storehouses and unloading areas the flooring is of concrete with case-hardening. The walls are of IPN «Kingspan» sandwich-panels. The roofing is rolled-strip, similar to shopping centre "OBI" roofing. Entrance lobbies and atrium domes are glazed with safe glass units with triplex hardened glass. Architectural forms on the facade of building are worked with modern composite materials. The complex is equipped with four moving staircases «Otis», panoramic elevators (lifts), аs well as cargo-and-passenger elevators (lifts) with total elevating capacity up to 2000 kg.
Heating, ventilation and air-conditioning is performed via "Trane" and "York" roof tops with hot water calorifers, in other rooms - via «Wolf» air-supply plants. The illumination is performed using «Philips» luminaires. All engineering systems are supplied with the dispatch control system, allowing to control any working parameters of equipment.
To provide no-break power is used diesel-engine power plant «Volvo» with the capacity of 630 kW.
In front of the commercial and entertaining complex there is an open parking for visitors with the capacity of 2000 places. In the rear area there is a passage for cargo transport. All asphalt and concrete surfaces are designed for continuous service in condition of the stress of heavy cargo transport having the weight up to 40 t and loaders having the weight up to 9 t.
The complex of environmental protection measures was provided during design phase.
